Artist's Description
This is the Crown Point Overlook outside of Portland Oregon. The scene is of the Columbia River Gorge. The little building in the distance is a Women's Club building that was constructed by the WPA during the Great Depression. When I first saw this site it was all I could do to stop myself form belting out "This land is your land, this land is my land..." I used some restraint. This one of the most, it not THE most beautiful scenes I have ever laid eyes upon.
